Beech

A residential home for two people made up of two en-suite apartments, with accessible communal areas, for people who have a learning disability or those with autism and complex needs

Beech has been thoughtfully developed to provide a two-bed residential home. It is made up of two distinct, apartment-styled living spaces. Beech was purposely designed to offer an environment where staff can deliver high-quality, specialist support for adults with significant complex learning disabilities and associated needs.  Every element of the home has been created with care, ensuring a high standard of accommodation that meets the diverse and often intricate needs of the people it supports.

The environment at Beech is calm, safe, and fully adaptable, allowing staff to personalise the space in line with individual requirements. This flexibility ensures that residents not only feel comfortable but are also supported in a way that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

With a strong focus on person-centred care, the team at Beech delivers bespoke support packages tailored to each resident’s unique strengths, needs, and goals. The skilled and compassionate team is committed to enhancing quality of life, building trusted relationships, and empowering individuals to reach their full potential. They provide a nurturing approach where individuals are truly at the centre of their care and can live happy and fulfilling lives.

At Beech, every individual receives tailored and personalised support designed to help them develop new skills and enhance their overall well-being. The team works collaboratively with each person to explore meaningful experiences that foster growth, learning, and independence. Beech is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care, working in close partnership with families and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes. A wide range of engaging, outcome-focused opportunities are offered to support each person’s progress, with a strong emphasis on building on their unique strengths and abilities to improve their quality of life.

Beech also proudly delivers the Active Offer, ensuring that services are accessible and available in the Welsh language. This not only promotes inclusivity and respects the cultural heritage of Wales, but also strengthens communication and engagement, supporting individuals in their preferred language.

Progress and outcomes are continuously reviewed, analysed, and refined to ensure each person receives the most effective support. Beech’s approach is underpinned by evidence-based care models such as Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Person-Centred Planning (PCP), Outcome Star, and Active Support, which guide every aspect of care delivery.

Collaboration is recognised as a vital element in achieving positive outcomes, and Beech actively involves individuals, their families, and commissioners wherever possible to ensure support remains meaningful and aligned with personal goals. Health, wellbeing, and independence are promoted through structured routines, active lifestyles, and personalised care plans that reflect the unique needs and aspirations of each individual.

Residents are supported to access a full range of primary healthcare services within the community, including GP visits, dental care, opticians, and other services.
