MHC’s Llangwyfan services hosted their annual summer fun day on the 18th August.
Residents and staff from across MHC services gathered on Highfield Park for an afternoon of games, live music, food and lots of fun.
After a grey start weather wise the sun broke through in the nick of time. There were a variety of activities and entertainment on offer which included hook a duck, a surf simulator, tombola, welly wanging and wet sponge stocks (special thanks to David Martin, Fleet Safety Assistant/Driver Assessor who volunteered for the stocks). For the animal lovers there was a small herd of alpacas and an impressive falconry display.
We had live music playing from a local band whilst people tucked into a delicious hog roast and refreshments.
An enjoyable afternoon had by all. Thank you to colleagues from Highfield Hub who, yet again, made the day so special for everyone.
