MHC’s Llangwyfan services host an Easter Bake Off.
Residents and staff from across MHC’s Llangwyfan services competed in an egg-citing Easter bake off. The brief was to bake and decorate a cake or biscuit with an Easter theme.
Jinette Hindmarsh, Partner Engagement Officer and Victoria Loton-Jones, Communications Officer, judged the entries. They were extremely impressed with the standard of baking and quality of decoration. Jinette added “ I can’t begin to tell you how much we enjoyed judging the bake off competition. The cakes not only looked fabulous but tasted delicious too. It was obvious that a great deal of time and thought went into creating these cakes. Well done to all who took part.”
The winner was Highfield House with the 6 tier, rainbow surprise, cake. 2nd place was awarded to the marshmallow lamb fruit cake, from Lodge and in 3rd place, the sponge cake adorned with pink sparkles and edible flowers.
