New Hall Care Home with Nursing is a large, detached property facing the community on the outskirts of a large village, Ruabon, near the community of Wrexham.
All 12 rooms consist of a double bed with ample amount of storage space and an en-suite. The home has two activity rooms, two dining areas, two lounges and a separate visitor building located across from reception, which has toilet facilities and is an area for family visits and meetings with a refreshment area.
The home is set in 10 acres of grounds, including woodland and an ornamental lake. The setting provides residents with plenty of space, peace, and tranquillity while still allowing them excellent access to community facilities in the surrounding area.

- Diagnosis of a Mental Health condition and/or Learning Disability or other associated conditions and Complex Needs

The Support Delivered
The support we provide at New Hall Care Home with Nursing
- New Hall Care Home with Nursing is a male-only service that supports residents aged 18+. We provide nursing and personal care for people with a Mental Health Diagnoses and/or Learning Disability or other associated diagnoses that require residential care and interventions, as set out below.
The Home with Nursing employs both Registered Mental Health Nurses (RNMH/RMH) and Registered Learning Disability Nurses (RNLD) who can offer clinical expertise to residents who require care and support. Our support is tailored around the individual and their needs. - The team at New Hall Care Home with Nursing works with individuals to maximise their strengths and abilities and develop new skills to enhance their wellbeing as part of their pathway.

- Individuals will receive high-quality, person-centred care from our dedicated, passionate, and experienced team.
We do this through:
- Progress against goals and outcomes are regularly reviewed, analysed, refined and celebrated.
- We recognise collaboration’s vital role in supporting individuals in achieving their desired outcomes – actively seeking to involve individuals, families, and commissioners.
- Each individual has a Person-Centered Plan, which is created prior to admission and constantly reviewed and updated. The plan accurately represents the individual and supports their overall well-being.
- We utilise Positive Behavioural Support (PBS), a person-centred approach for individuals who may display challenging behaviours. This is achieved by working with the individual and staff to develop a plan that clearly sets out guidance for staff to acknowledge the settings and triggers of the behaviour being displayed and manage it in the least restrictive way.
- Supporting individuals with community integration and skill building to maximise independence and prepare for their next step the the care pathway.

Situated within walking distance of the village of Ruabon and 5 miles from Wrexham, the largest town in North Wales, New Hall Care Home with Nursing benefits from all the local communities have to offer. In the heart of Ruabon there is a small supermarket, fish & chip shop, café, bakery, library, bank, post office and newsagents.

Linda Hull, Registered Manager
Linda started her career in the health and social care sector as a Support Worker in non-verbal learning disability. She has since gained a plethora of qualifications including a diploma in Mental Health Nursing, QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management, Autism Awareness training, Mental Health, PBS and Foundations for Safer Care Instructor training.
Linda has a proven track record of assisting and improving services. Her values include: honesty, integrity and striving to improve the quality of experience for the people we provide care for throughout their stay with MHC.
