Judging takes place for the annual Scarecrow competition.
The much anticipated scarecrow competition made a return. Inspiration this year was taken from a ‘super heroes’ theme.
Judging took place on the 23rd May, a beautiful sunny day.
There was a total of 5 entries – 4 from Highfield Park and 1 from the nearby village of Llandyrnog.
The judging was by Vice Chair of the Llandyrnog Village Council, Mr Evans and MHC ‘s Andrew MacGlashan.
After much deliberation, the results were:
- Winner – Oak (Superman
- Runners up: Lodge (Wonder Woman) & Larch (Batman)
- Highly Commended: Reception (Captain Underpants) & Llandyrnog WI – Super Girl
